Haven't heard from you for a few days? Just wondered if I had done anything to upset you? Can't think of anything that i did. But if I did, then please let me know?

This is SO important to me. I really don't want to lose you again?

I have days left in this country now, and it is really freaking me out? The whole canadian family know we are coming apart from ex wife. But that is only a matter of time?

I know I am not rich or important or have loads of money? or anything that matters to xxxxx. But I really care about you and i don't want to lose you? Right?

I really, really need a friend right now? Can you be there? If you can't then that is fine too.

Just know that I luv you mate, and I will never forget you?

Keep that picture of you and me in Cornwall back to back together and remember the good times. Yes?

You know what? I am regretting sending it now? If i hadn't sent it and she didn't get in touch (as Hubby advised) then I would never know. But now? if she doesn't that will hurt way more?

It IS better to know in the long run? Was she a real friend, or just someone along for the ride? Honestly when we first got in touch I was "almost famous" for stand up Comedy. didn't work out? And now, she has way more money than she knows what to do with, and we have just enough to escape???????????????

Aw, I hope all comes up right for you. It must be quite difficult pulling up all your roots, leaving your country for a whole new culture...and then having something you obviously care deeply about, being open-ended. Whatever form of closure (or not) you are needing right now, I wish you the best in getting it for your own peace.

This is such a perfect email and I so hope that she gets in touch. She would have to be seriously strange or have some personal issues that she has to cope with herself if she fails to respond. Eight years ago my best friend met a new man. It was obvious from the start that he didn't want me and my husband to be part of my friends live and resented eveything we had shared. After only a few months she completely cut all ties with me (at one point arranged to meet on an evening in February and left me standing in the street for over an hour with no explanation). I tried to call, I sent letters and emails but she refused to respond. It still hurts to this day. I saw a photograph of her a few weeks ago via another friend and it reduced me to tears. I would love to know if she has any regrets but have resigned myself to never knowing. You may to walk away from this without closure but at least you know that you have done everything possible to let her know how important her friendship is to you. I will be thinking about you today xx

Only just read all this and your previous.
You were right to send it. Even if you don't hear from her, it would be worse to think you could have and held back... if you see what I mean.
I do hope she gets back in touch, and if not, it's her loss. Anyone who turns their back on a friend without a good reason is just hurting themselves, and you're better off without them.

Sounds a bit of a weird situation though - maybe she's under pressure from her husband, in which case, she might appreciatea friend, I guess...

I also agree with others that, if it doesn't work out, it's clearly her loss!
